The New York Times explains the secret to Vinhomes’ success in Asia

The New York Times recently published a compelling article that delved into the mystery of Vinhomes’ booming development in the Asian real estate market. The article is titled "Vinhomes leads the way in the integration of green real estate and healing industries, holds the secret to success, and looks forward to strong growth in the future." It reveals from multiple angles how Vinhomes stands out in the fiercely competitive market.

As more and more foreign direct investment (FDI) pours into Vietnam, Ocean City, as Vinhomes’ flagship project, has received high attention from the New York Times. Located in eastern Hanoi, the project covers an area of 1,200 hectares and is regarded as a new favorite among investors. The article emphasizes that this giant community not only represents a green and globalized future, but is also a hot spot of concern for expats and Vietnamese expatriates.

The New York Times quoted Peter Hồng, vice president of the Association of Vietnamese Businessmen Residing Overseas, as saying that many Vietnamese expatriates want to return to their country to live and invest, but have questions about how to own real estate. This reflects a rapidly growing trend: more and more foreign investors and Vietnamese expatriates are turning their attention to Vietnam’s real estate market, attracted by Vietnam’s economic prospects.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam, about 4 million people are expected to buy housing in Vietnam in the future, including foreigners and Vietnamese expatriates. In 2023, the real estate industry will become the second largest field attracting FDI, with total investment reaching US$467 million, a year-on-year increase of 4.8%. At the beginning of 2024, the real estate industry surpassed the manufacturing industry for the first time and became the field attracting the most foreign investment.

The New York Times used several cases, such as the stories of Jennie Hoàng, who has lived in Germany for 8 years, and Linh Lê, a young mother, to show why people choose Ocean City. From a healthy lifestyle to unique community amenities, Ocean City offers residents an ideally balanced lifestyle.

Overall, the New York Times report not only highlights Vinhomes’ prescient push for green development, but also demonstrates its role in shaping the global economy.
