Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 accelerates land clearance, boosting strategic infrastructure development

Post Date : Thursday, May 07, 2026

“Rapid acceleration” of site clearance for the mega Ring Road 4 project – the longest route in Southeast Vietnam

The Ring Road 4 of Ho Chi Minh City – a key economic corridor and the longest route in the Southeast region – has officially entered a highly intense “final sprint” phase.

Recently, the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee issued a comprehensive plan to implement compensation, support, and resettlement activities, while also accelerating the construction of modern service roads and parallel roads for the project. This is considered a decisive “trigger” to unlock land resources and prepare for a massive upcoming construction site.

According to the roadmap, large-scale land clearance operations will be simultaneously deployed across 16 strategic “hotspots” in Ho Chi Minh City and surrounding areas, including:

  • Communes: Hiệp Phước, Nhuận Đức, Tân An Hội, Châu Pha, Châu Đức, Thường Tân, Bắc Tân Uyên
  • Wards: Tân Thành, Bình Dương, Hòa Lợi, Long Nguyên, Tây Nam, Thới Hòa, Bình Cơ, Tân Uyên, Vĩnh Tân

To ensure transparency, fairness, and “rapid-speed” progress, authorities have established a structured 20-step compensation process. This process is strictly monitored from the initial land acquisition stage to the final management of cleared land, ensuring readiness for construction.

At present, the project’s operational pace has intensified significantly, with several key steps already being implemented on site. With this decisive push, Ring Road 4 is expected to be completed sooner, creating a major breakthrough for regional transportation infrastructure and economic development.
