Long An to Auction Hundreds of Land Lots Starting at 255 Million VND

Post Date : Tuesday, May 21, 2024

In early June, Long An province's Kien Tuong town will auction nearly 360 land lots, with the cheapest lot starting at 255 million VND, covering an area of 100 square meters.

These lots are part of the Phase 2 airport urban area in Ward 1 and the rural residential area in Hamlet 3, Thanh Tri commune, all located in Kien Tuong town, Long An province. The auction is scheduled to take place on June 3.

Specifically, in the rural residential area of Hamlet 3, there will be 183 lots up for auction. The smallest lot is 92 square meters, and the largest is nearly 118 square meters, with starting prices ranging from 2.5 million to over 3.2 million VND per square meter. Most of the lots are 100 square meters, with the lowest starting price at 255 million VND, equivalent to 2.5 million VND per square meter.

Meanwhile, 176 lots in the airport urban area of Ward 1 have higher starting prices. The lot with the highest starting price is 1.38 billion VND, covering an area of about 122 square meters, averaging over 11 million VND per square meter. Most of the remaining lots are 100 square meters, with starting prices from 9.4 million VND per square meter.

Long An is expected to generate a minimum of 216 billion VND from the auction of these nearly 360 land lots, with the airport urban area lots accounting for nearly 77% of the total.

A few days later, Vinh Hung district will also auction 21 land lots as part of the expansion project of the residential area east of Vinh Hung town (Phase 1). These lots range from 147 to 186 square meters, with an average price of 6.2 million VND per square meter. Thus, the smallest lot will cost from 913 million VND, while the largest lot will cost from 1.15 billion VND.

In the first quarter of 2024, Long An collected approximately 7.97 trillion VND in budget revenue, reaching 45.5% of the estimate and increasing by nearly 80% compared to the same period in 2023. The increase in land use fees from households, individuals, and revenue from land auction winners is one of the many factors that contributed to the province's positive budget revenue results in the first three months of the year.
